April Fools' Day, oops, Palm Sunday

I was in church for 4½ hours today and that included the rehearsal for next week's Easter services.  Like the sermon in every single church on this planet today, today's sermon was based on our Lord's triumphant entry into Jerusalem and we had the reading from St Matthew's Gospel.  Strangely, nobody seemed to avoid St Matthew, seeing that he wrote a deliberate untruth because of an obvious misunderstanding of Old Testament prophecy and his eagerness to make Jesus seem to fulfil the prophecy.  For details, please see what I wrote in another blog entry two years ago: CLICK HERE
